Meet Natasha Pomeroy, Lead Instructor at Royal Ontario Academy

As Lead Instructor at Royal Ontario Academy, Natasha Pomeroy is primarily responsible for math and science course development. She combines more than a decade of classroom experience with graduate-level expertise in curriculum and instructional design.
Education and Professional Background
Natasha holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instructional Design from Simon Fraser University. She also holds a Bachelor of Education in International and Global Education and a Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching Theory with a minor in Biological Sciences.
Her teaching experience includes:
- Science in Grades 8 to 12
- Biology in Grades 11 and 12
- Physics in Grade 11
- Mathematics in Grades 8 to 12
- Learning support and alternative education
- Indigenous student success programming
Natasha has taught in the Burnaby School District and has alo worked as a curriculum specialist, instructional design consultant and online teacher.
